Basketball

This year, Madison and Simon wanted to try and play basketball. It's a nice way to run off some extra energy during these winter months. They are both enjoying it and you can often find Simon skipping down the court snapping his fingers!

Later that day...

Madison tripped on the step from the family room into the kitchen. She fell and hit her head and needed 6 stitches. She was very brave during all of this and the doctor kept Madison occupied by asking her multiplication facts while stitching her up!

First Days of school...

Simon was super excited to be heading to first grade!

Madison, on the other hand, was extremely disappointed to be sick and have to miss the first day.
Not to worry, just a few days later and she was as good as new and just as excited for school as Simon was on his first day!
