Field Trip

Here are Madison and Simon at the fire station. We went on a field trip with MOPS. The kids both had a fun time. Madison's favorite part was wearing boots to the fire station so she could match the fire fighters! She was pretty excited when one of the noticed her wearing them and commented to her about how cool they were!

We've had some pretty mild weather this October, so we took advantage of it and planted some tulip bulbs. Now all we have to do is wait for Spring to come to see what they will look like.

I asked Simon to put Cocoa's uneaten food back in his bowl. About 10 minutes later and lots of hard work, I came to see the "mountain" of dog food piled as high as it could go!

The other day, Madison was riding Simon's big wheel and he wanted a turn. As you can see by their faces, neither one wanted to wait their turn. They were trying to work it out and came up with an interesting solution. Click here to see what they did.

What's in a name?...take 2

Well, Necklace lasted longer than we thought, but is no longer with us. We went to the pet store to pick out some new fish. Madison came home with a guppy named "Bracelet" (guess we have a theme here!) and Simon came home with a goldfish named "Nickname".

What's in a name?

Madison won a goldfish last weekend at the carnival. She thought a bit and came up with quite an original name...Necklace. Not sure what made her think of it, but I am guessing that is probably the only fish out there named Necklace!

Learning

Hummingbird

Here is a picture Jeremy took of a hummingbird in our back yard. There have been several times where we have been able to see the birds coming to get a drink.
